Wie schon im Vorpost erwähnt hängt das vom Typ des Sets ab....

Wenige verläßliche Eckdaten, die ich beisteuern kann:
Santa Fe Lok wurde in erster Auflage explizit mit 10000 Numerierten Sets rausgebracht und war binnen einiger (Tage?) Wochen ausverkauft. Danach gab es weitere Auflagen. Da die nicht den Kaufanreiz der Rarität mitbrachten, würde ich erwarten, dass da zhlenmäßig nicht soviel mehr verkauft wurde.

Die Gesamtauflage mag also bei 20.000 - 40.000 gelegen haben.

Von der Freiheitsstatue gab es mal die Aussage, es seien 2000 Stück aufgelegt worden - war damals aber auch preislich an der Obergrenze und für LEGO unsicher, ob sich sowas verkauft. Heutige exklusive Großsets werden totsicher in größeren Auflagen hergestellt (meine Schätzung: Minimum 20.000 Stück?).

Da kann man sofort verstehen, dass normale Taschengeld-Sets Auflagen von grundsätzlich >>100.000 haben.

Keine Schätzung wage ich für Sets wie den Technik-Bagger oder Eisenbahnen. Alles im Handel dürfte nie unter 100.000 liegen (Exklusives wie Emerald oder Maersk via S@H ggf. darunter). Wäre schön hier mal verläßliche Insider-Infos zu bekommen.

Anderer Ansatz: Lego-Umsatz 2011 war Eur 2,5 Mrd und es gab ca. 350 Sets neu in 2011. Geht man von durchschnittlich 15 Eur je Set aus (und vernachlässigt Umsätze aus anderen Sachen als Sets - also Parks, Klamotten, etc.), so ergeben sich 476.000 Set als durchschnittliche Losgröße...

Oder bessere Schätzung nach Suche bei Lego.com:
Es wurden in 2011 36 Mrd Steine hergestellt. Mit 180 Elementen im Durchschnittsset (grobe Schätzung aufgrund eigener Datenbasis) sind das 200 Mio Sets. Und das geteilt durch die 350 Sets/Jahr ergibt 570.000 Sets als durchschnittliche Losgröße.

Taschengeldsets werden demnach immer in Millionen-Auflagen hergestellt.
