DAF 95XF.430 8x4 with six axle Nooteboom ballast trailer

Here are some pictures of one of my latest creations: a DAF 95XF.430 8x4
pulling a six axle Nooteboom ballast trailer. It’s the first DAF since ’97.
Many people requested me to build one, so I did. And I must say, more DAFs
will come soon!

Seen some pictures:

The model is, of course, on scale 1:13. The total length is about 1.5
metres. I really don’t know how much time I spent on this model. The last
month I don’t work very regular on them.
Under the tiltable cab houses a 6 cylinder in line engine. Both frot axles
are steed, the tandem is driven. The trailer has four steered axles (last
three and first one). The truck haules the ballast for the Liebherr LTM1400
telescopic crane. You can always see this truck together with the crane.

More info about it will be posted soon on my website.

For those who will come to the Modelshow Europe in Geldermalsen next
Saturday: I will bring this model with me too.

Feel free to give your comments.

Dennis

What's the problem?
Geldermalsen on Saturday, Mülheim on Sunday, makes a nice weekend trip!

Hi El-Caracho,

>Wow!

Thanks!

>As usual, your model is of the very high standard we are used to see (and somewhat expect) from you.

2nd thanks!

>I already found them last night on brickshelf ...

I knew it ...

I only have these pictures. I tested the camera we recently bought. Next month I will take most of my model to a nice spot to make pictures of it. Also the details.

That's a shame. I will come to Germany this year. I don't know when but I will let you know.

Hi Rene,

Thanks for the compliments!

Yep, I break my models off after a while. That while is between one and two years. When I'm short in pieces I have to take a decission which model will be nominated.

The ammount large wheels is almost endless: I have more than 130 of them (24x43). Now I also have 80 of the smaller ones left, but when I build some huge low loaders I will need most of them.

Dennis

>Hello Dennis,
>this is really fantastic - like your former models too. Each time you show a new MOC, I say to me: "That's his last model. Now there are no unused wheels all over the Netherlands." :-) Im wondering if you take your models apart after a while?
