Hallo, die Firma BlueBrixx bringt auch Waggons und Lokmodelle raus. Alles in 6er Weite. Es kommt auch ein Doppelstockzug raus. Gruß Torsten

die Märklin Wagen sind grob 1:87, 4wide und fahren auf Modellbahngleisen.
Aber schöne Modelle bei BlueBrixx, und günstig.

Bin mal gespannt, was der Doppelstockzug kosten wird. Ich habe das dreiteilige Teil gerade in 7er Weite und mit Drillingsachsen fertiggestellt. Gruß Torsten

Märklin scheint das Thema Klemmbaustein tatsächlich weiter zu führen; schon vor einiger Zeit erschien der "Klemmbausteinwagen 44734", dann etwa ein Jahr später dieses Set: klick , dann noch ein erster Wagen mit Steinen und "Light Stax"-Beleuchtung.
Großes Manko an der Sache: die Bausteine sind von Banbao.
Ich hatte das Set 44736 in den Fingern und leider bestätigte sich die schlechte Qualität der Steine (sowieso nur gekauft wegen dem Wagen mit SCHWARZER Noppenplatte).
Interessant sind die Sets aber trotzdem, vor allem die Lok und der Discowagen (könnten gute Grundlagen für Eigenbauten mit Lego sein).

We struggled to find what is an icon of a train that has universal appeal. And surprisingly the Winter Village train, that one has been quite a hit. So I think we can learn from that to figure out how could we do a train in the future.

Do you think it could be option 3 that people won't buy a train because they think; well I don't have a train set. I don't have the tracks, so it's useless to me?
That could be an option yeah. Generally when someone's buying an Expert model they've already bought a lot of other LEGO. So if they're buying an Expert train they probably already have tracks from other City trains that they bought. But it's a fair comment to say. I mean to your point, our holiday train, it does include track.

And I think from my personal opinion the Winter Holiday Train is something you will buy because you collect the Winter Village sets. We will buy it. Not because we like trains that much or we want the tracks.
So the thing is figuring out how can you get people, other than train fans, to get excited about this and that's what works at the Winter Holiday Train. You get everyone that's into the Winter Holiday sets and into trains, so maybe some train people will buy it. And everyone that's buying the Winter Holiday sets they will also be interested in that. So maybe we need a Modular Building with a train.

Kurz gesagt: AFOL-Züge verkaufen sich einfach nicht. Oder zumindest nicht gut genug gegenüber anderen Sets wie den Modularhäusern, Autos, Jahrmarkt usw. Siehe auch meine Signatur, das ist doch eine fantastische Lok, aber die krepelt seit Monaten bei Ideas bei ca. 1500 Stimmen herum. Und genau so geht es allen anderen Loks und Zügen bei Ideas ebenfalls.

meine Bemerkung bezog sich (schlecht formuliert) eigentlich auf die Elektronik.
Sechs Lichtchen, Sound, da ist Lego doch weit entfernt.

Hat sich der Horizon-Express über alle Länder gesehen so schlecht verkauft? Sind "The Powerpuff Girls" oder "Unikitty!" Themen, die global gut laufen?

Immer dann wenn ich mir Bestseller-Rankings anschaue, liegen Züge, sofern fair eingepreist, eigentlich immer ziemlich weit vorne.

Ich schätze da liegt der Hase im Pfeffer, zumindest teilweise. Lego produziert ja nunmal global und da nen Durchschnitt zu finden ist sicher schwierig. Andererseits dürfte es bei vielen Themen zu unterschiedlichen "regionalen" Absatzzahlen geben. Was aber auch ein Problem ist, es gibt kein system. Kein zubehör und alle paar jahre mal nen Zug. Für Kinder zum ne zeitlang mit spielen mag das noch reichen aber wer da lämger was mit anfangen will steht blöd da. Zumal man ja auch nicht so recht weiss wies in den nächsten Jahren ausschaut. Lego müsste da seine Strategie ändern und vor allem das Sortiment nicht alle halbe jahre komplett umgestalten, gilt aber für alle Bereiche.

Hallo, wir werden auch in Zukunft unsere Züge selber bauen müssen. Ist auch schöner so. Hauptsache Lego stellt genügend Teile in allen Farben zur Verfügung. Gruß Torsten
