I wanted to announce a new feature to iPaB. Now on the summary page for each LEGO store, you can download the PaB summary page to a CSV file. This feature comes to you from a suggestion by Ronald -- you have him to thank.

Dear Mike
In my humble opinion it would be better to leave the descriptions in English to allow for consistency with Bricklink.
Kindest regards + thanks a bunch for your effort!

Hello Mike,
Personally I also think that English part names are sufficient. As someone else noted, BrickLink's part names are also in English and people got used to it. Even if there was a German translation, I would probably continue to use the English version in order to avoid confusion when switching between brickbuildr and bricklink. Also keep in mind: The more languages you support, the more involved it gets to keep all of them up to date when new things are added.

This is very useful, so I can easily import it into my own programs. Thanks to both of you!
By the way, it happens quite often that several different parts are put into the same PaB container. For example, just recently they have put two different kinds of black parts into one container of the Munich store. I'm aware that this would be rather difficult to implement with the current design of your web app, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Maybe you've got an idea how to do this.
Best regards
Oliver

Hallo Michael,

Oliver

Just trying to make it easier, but if that's the general consensus I'll leave it as is...

Yes, I've been thinking about this problem... There's been mention of a few stores in the US that do this as well. I'm thinking about creating an 'exceptions' table in the database. From the summary screen, you would indicate that a container has more than one part contained within it... then like normal, you'd select which parts they are. Then I'm thinking on the summary page, the 'exceptions' would show up in a separate table below with X,Y coordinates for each exception.
It's not a pretty solutions, but it might work.

Well, it's just my personal opinion. I'm sure there are people who disagree.

Yes, that sounds like it would work well enough.
Thanks again for creating iPaB! This is something that many of us have waited for.
Best regards

Nice to see that the PAB got more features - but when will it get more fields?
The Cologne Brand Store has about 100 different parts in the wall (usually three different parts in a bowl).

Moin, moin,
1x4 Fliese: braun,
2x2 Fliesen: gelb, blau, blau-dunkel, tan, orange, blau
2x2 Stein: lime, braun, gelb, rot-dunkel (bordot), blau-hell, grau-dunkel, grün,
2x3 Stein: lime, braun, orange, weiß, grün, grau-dunkel, grün,
2x4 Stein: lime, weiß, rot-dunkel (bordot), blau-hell, schwarz, orange, grün-dunkel, tan, weiß, pink-hell (glaube Farb-Code 104 bzw. 222 ), bau, grün,
2x4 Platte: schwarz
2x6 Platte: grün,
außerdem in blau: Platten 2x10, 4x4,
gelbe Blumen (4728) und 2x4x2 2Rundungen (4744)
grüne Stiele und Kreuz-Blumen (4727)
Bei Bedarf Foto´s.
