The SE stands for 'Special Edition' and this is definitely the case with this set. Coming in at 187 pieces and an affordable $39.99 MSRP, you'll be able to preorder this item at www.LEGOshop.com in the next couple of days for August shipment.

At this time there are no pics to share - you'll have to watch LEGO for those. I do have some additional details though; this model is more intricate than the original 7141 - the tail end is much more sleekly designed this time. There are no minifigs, continuing the tradition of making more detailed UCS type models that are meant for the build and display. Like the other UCS models it comes with a display stand and the sticker which provides details. You can honestly think of this as a scaled-down UCS set that is more affordable for everyone.

Oh, and there's one more detail: The entire front end is made up of CHROME bricks. Yep, you read that right - the nose and tips of the engines are exact to the film this time.

Es stimmt, dass 39,99 EUR ziemlich teuer für 187 Teile sind.
Aber in dem Artikel wurde von US-Dollar gesprochen, nicht von Euro :-(

Nur ein Beispiel:

Das Set [link=http://guide.lugnet.com/set/7153" target=blank>7153[/link] (der neue Slave 1) kostet bei S@H USA 49,99 USD, bei S@H Deutschland 69,99 EUR.
Das sind vom reinen Betrag her 40 % mehr.

Nach dieser Rechnung würde der neue Naboo-Fighter 10026 etwa 56 EUR kosten.
Das wäre wiederum ein Teilepreis von 30 C (60 Pf)

Aber meckern werde ich erst, wenn ich Gewissheit habe.

nach der Kinderlogik haste sicher recht! Aber da die Santa Fe in beiden Shops (USA und BRD) in "Zahlen" gleich viel kosten, 39,99 Euro oder Dollar, werden wir uns wohl wieder überraschen lassen müssen :-( ...und hoffentlich nicht böse!
